Benny's Pet Foundation
Volunteer
THANK YOU for your interest in supporting Benny's Pet Foundation.
Benny's Pet Foundation (BPF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. Our mission is to enhance animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership and we do this here in the Central PA Community in which we live and work. We are dedicated to hosting Pet Adoption Events (Featuring Local Pet Rescues & Pet Related Vendors), as well as educate the public about general care of animals. In addition, BPF provides Grants to qualifying Veterinary Care Funds, Nonprofit Organizations and Nonprofit Rescues for Emergency Vet Care.
The following information will provide details about volunteer opportunities, as well as policies and procedures for volunteering with Benny's Pet Foundation.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Benny's Pet Foundation Board of Directors

Volunteer Policies and Procedures
Waiver & Emergency Contact
We ask volunteers to sign a waiver of liability and provide an emergency contact, with updated information as needed.
Hours & Attendance
We ask volunteers to commit to volunteering for at least one (1) event or shift in a six (6) month period to remain active.
Volunteers are asked to commit to an entire shift – most of our events are one shift of 3-4 hours, for longer events we offer shifts to keep the time commitment to about 3-4 hours or less. When a volunteer commits to a shift, we are counting on you to be able to perform that duty for the entire shift. If there are any concerns or difficulties in completing volunteer duties, please discuss with a Board Member.
